Authors Uncovered: In-Person Interview with Mark Arax

Authors Uncovered: In-Person Interview with Mark Arax

Presented by Sacramento Public Library and CapRadio at Central Library

The only thing greater than reading a book is hearing from the person who wrote it.

At Authors Uncovered, you’re offered a front-row seat to the minds of those who’ve put great stories and research onto the page.Ask the author your most pressing questions. Meet other fans of the books you’ve read. Purchase the book or bring yours in to have it signed by the author.

Arax confronts the 'Golden State' myth in riveting fashion. The author writes about California from gold miners to wheat ranchers to small fruit farmers and today's big agriculture. In The Dreamt Land: Chasing Water and Dust Across California, he is from a family of Central Valley farmers, and a writer with deep ties to the land. Arax will be in a conversation with Donna Apidone of Capital Public Radio.
