The Artery presents "Born of a Tiny Seed" showcasing the blown and fused glass of Linnea Wong and glass, jewelry and mixed media of Lori Wynn.
Two friends, Linnea Wong and Lori Wynn, met during a design critique at the California College of Arts in Oakland. They soon discovered that they enjoyed exploring their divergent styles and media. "Born of a Tiny Seed" refers to how a tiny seed of thought grows into an amazing piece of art.
This show features Linnea's luminous blown, fused, and lamp worked glass and mixed media creations. Her artwork includes handcrafted jewelry, sculpture, and functional as well as decorative objet d'art. Wong’s strong designs are graceful and confident with an Asian influence.
Lori Wynn, formerly a founding partner of Deutsch Design Works, San Francisco, brings her love of design to her eclectic art. Her keen design eye, love of textures and evocative sense of color make her art unique. She works with various media including jewelry, wire, glass and paint.
