The Winter season hints at joyful memories, houses lit up and decorated, carols sung by the fireplace and the seasons greatest dishes served at a table surrounded by family and friends. These same memories are recreated year after year, but for some the experience will be missed.

Per The Sacramento Bee, a recent count recorded over 5,500 people are living on the streets, in cars, or in shelters this year. Homelessness has raised 19% since 2017 and this holiday our goal is to provide a holiday meal for those in need.

Baws and Sky Flux are partnering with Yxplosion, a local non profit organization whose continuous contribution to the Oak Park Community is a spotlight of what it means to give back.

The mission is to receive donations that will aid in as many as 300+ individuals and families to help in manifesting this fortunate feast. If you know or are a family or individual in need of a holiday meal, quality time with your community, we invite you to join us.
