For the first time, Midtown Parks is participating in GivingTuesday, a global movement that provides you an opportunity to support nonprofits in the local community! Show your Midtown Love for Midtown Parks by making a donation at MidtownParks.org. Stop by the Midtown Association office between 8am-6:30pm and show your donation receipt to receive a complimentary Midtown Parks branded drawstring bag. Midtown Association is also hosting a happy hour from 5pm-6:30pm with drinks, appetizers, a donation station and complimentary swag for any donations made on site. Mingle with staff and learn more about Midtown Parks, its mission to invest in open spaces, and future plans for each of the parks.

Midtown Parks, the nonprofit arm of Midtown Association, aims to increase health and community engagement by investing in Midtown parks – Fremont Park, Marshall Park, Truitt Bark Park and Winn Park. Midtown Parks will help transform the open spaces of our central city into dynamic destinations that attract a cross-section of the community and build value in the neighborhoods they serve. Thus far, efforts include partnering on the soon to be installed all-weather umbrellas in Truitt Bark Park and collaborating on nearly 100 free events, like yoga and pilates, in Fremont Park in 2019.
