Lynn Dau is a San Jose-based sculptor whose work investigates themes related to personal identity, gender roles, labor, parenting, and consumerism. She repurposes everyday objects related to the domestic sphere such as flatware, sinks, or cooking pots, hinting at a narrative that is both humorous and deeply provocative. Found objects are often cast to create countless bronze or concrete replicas, which appear to be in motion, hinting at the never-ending chaos of daily life.
