The Crocker Art Museum offers high-quality, full-day art camps designed to support campers as they imagine, experiment, and create. Crocker camps focus on process over product and offer campers an opportunity to explore diverse subjects and materials through the Museum’s renowned collection and special exhibitions. Campers develop friendships and critical thinking skills through looking at, talking about, and making art.
In our Super-powered Paintings Camp, participants will be engaged in demonstrations of acrylic painting techniques and get the hang of it with lots of practice. After painting imagined heroes, campers will enhance their subject with superpowers by adding explosive color and detail.
