Monotype (one of a kind printmaking) encompasses a wide variety of techniques and materials. Verge instructor's will use non toxic water based inks and Xerox transfers to explore trace monotype and simple drawing and photographic transfers on mulberry paper and lightweight printmaking paper. The class will learn a combination of hand and press printing for these techniques. Prints may be hand colored to enhance surfaces. Materials are provided.

This workshop is appropriate for beginners with no previous printmaking experience and experienced printmakers alike.
