Something Different: Copyright Law for Creatives (Sold Out)

The Crocker Art Museum and California Lawyers for the Arts are proud to present an informative evening on copyright law. Whether participants are an active artist or just interested in what is involved in creating and protecting artwork, this event will be engaging and educational.

Presenter Steve Davis, Esq., through his firm, Law Offices of Stephen L. Davis. Mr. Davis' practice encompasses copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, unfair competition, the Internet and e-commerce, and art law, as well as general business formation, finance and operations. His practice is equally divided in these areas between transactional work, including
advice, registration, and drafting contracts, and litigation. Steve has extensive experience in civil litigation in state and federal courts, and has prosecuted misdemeanor and felony criminal cases as a deputy district attorney with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
