San Francisco Munich Trio presents works by Mikhail Glinka, Gabriel Fauré, and Johannes Brahms
Through their selections for bassoon, cello and piano, the San Francisco Munich Trio embody the lush romanticism of 19th-century Europe with works by Mikhail Glinka, Gabriel Fauré, and Johannes Brahms, inspired by the Crocker’s collection of paintings from that era.
Before the performance, enjoy an in-depth, docent-led tour of select works in the Crocker’s collection of 19th-century European paintings and other art from the permanent collection, to help put the music in context with the art.
