Please join the Crocker Art Museum for a New Member Orientation with Lial A. Jones, Director and CEO, and learn about the many ways to maximize membership benefits. The presentation will include a brief history of the Museum, as well as information about the Crocker’s exhibitions and programs.

Appointed executive director in late 1999, Lial A. Jones has set the strategic vision for the Crocker Art Museum’s emergence as the leading cultural institution in California’s Capitol Region. She oversaw the planning, construction and opening, in 2010, of a 125,000 square-foot addition that tripled the size of the Crocker. The growth of the Museum during her tenure includes a 100 percent increase in the size of the collection, an increase in attendance of 150 percent, and membership growth of more than 400 percent.
