Board a chartered bus to San Francisco’s de Young museum to see two blockbuster exhibitions! First, in the life and art of Frida Kahlo in Appearances Can Be Deceiving, view family photographs, her vibrant Tehuana clothing and personalized braces and prosthetics. After lunch, the group will assemble for a docent-led tour of 150 works by pioneering feminist Judy Chicago, spanning from the 1960s to her current body of work.

Schedule: Depart the Crocker at 7:30am, arrive at the deYoung at 10am, docent tour from 10:30am – 11:30am. Participants will be on their own for lunch until 1pm. Docent tour from 1pm – 2pm, individual free time until 4pm departure, arrive in Sacramento at 6:30pm.
