This class will explain how to convert one's yard and kitchen waste into a valuable soil amendment (“garden gold”) by composting it!  The two-hour class covers everything participants need to know about selecting a compost bin or making a compost pile, what happens in the pile, turning the pile and using the finished product.  Class participants will receive a compost bin and educational materials.
