Presented by UC Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners at Fair Oaks Horticulture Center

Bring samples of one's problem plants or insects to the Ask the Master Gardeners table.

Mini-demonstrations:
-Water Efficient Landscapes: Container gardening.
-Orchard: De-bugging orchard irrigation.
-Herbs: Propagating herbs.
-Vegetables: Cutting down and turning in cover crops.

On-going:
-Orchard: Best tools for orchard care.  Why a “Tropicals’ Hut”?  Pollinators.
-Herbs: Edible flowers in the garden.
-Berries: Testing soil pH, tips for vigorous plants and superior yields
-Vegetables: Vegetable garden pest management.
-Vineyard: Pruning young vines:  3-year cane-pruned, 5-year spur pruned.
-Compost: Build, turn and harvest compost.  See new ‘Lincoln Log’ compost. Worm composting.
