Scott Joss and Chris Gantry

Presented by Bandhoppers at The Boardwalk

Scott Joss was recently inducted into the National Fiddlers Hall of Fame. His impressive career includes 15 years with Dwight Yoakam. In 2003 he joined forces with Merle Haggard as one of the legendary “Strangers”, and toured with Merle until his passing in 2016. During the same year, Kris Kristofferson hired Merle’s band the “Strangers”, and Scott has been busy touring North America, Europe, and Australia playing to sold out shows with Kris Kristofferson ever since. Scott was still able to find time to release his 3rd solo album in 2018, with Kristofferson joining him on two of the songs. It won’t be long before Joss hits the road again with Kristofferson, but in the meantime and for the first time, we are able to allow Scott Joss to headline his own music, and become the main attraction.

Chris Gantry wrote the No. 1 standard “Dreams of the Everyday Housewife.” Originally from Queens, NY, Chris made the move to Nashville in 1963, and played a big part in the “Outlaw” movement. His closest running mates at the time included Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, and Shel Silverstein. Gantry’s songs have been recorded by over 100 artists including Reba McEntire, Johnny Cash, Robert Goulet, KD Lang, Wayne Newton, and Roy Clark. In addition to songwriting, Gantry has written seven books including his latest, Gypsy Dreamers in the Alley” Cool Vibe Publishing, about his time in Nashville during the outlaw days. The foreword of the book is written by close friend Kris Kristofferson. Gantry's works and legacy are on display in Nashville, Tn at the Country Music Hall of Fame through February of 2021. This year will be just as busy for Chris Gantry, with a new book and album slated for release in 2020, called "The Outlaw Bible."

Jennifer Belle is an American singer-songwriter who will also perform.
