Homegrown: A Festival of New Works (Cancelled)

Presented by Sacramento Ballet at The Sofia Tsakopoulos Center for the Arts

The Sacramento Ballet's inaugural “Homegrown” presents world premieres by a trio of exciting emerging artists: Jennifer Archibald, Nicole Haskins and Isaac Bates-Vineuza. Archibald, Resident Choreographer for Cincinnati Ballet, was a Choreographic Fellow for Alvin Ailey’s New Directions Choreography Lab. She has choreographed for major dance companies such as Atlanta Ballet, Kansas City Ballet and Stockholm’s Balletakedemien, as well as commercially for Tommy Hilfiger, NIKE, and MAC Cosmetics. Haskins, a Sacramento Ballet alumnus, has graced the Oregon Ballet Theatre’s Choreography XX and the New York Choreographic Institute. She has choreographed for Richmond Ballet and Smuin Ballet, among others. Finally, Sacramento Ballet artist Isaac Bates-Vineuza further develops After All, his offering from the 2019 Beer and Ballet.

The Sutter Community Garage is located in the alley at 2701 N Street. The entrance to the garage is located on 28th between Capitol Avenue and N Street. When entering the garage, attendees will insert a credit or debit card. No ticket or receipt will be printed. When leaving the garage, attendees will insert their card again and be given a receipt.
