This exhibit is a collection of over 100 piece of art, both original and prints. The artists represented have one the prestigious Coretta Scott King Award for their Illustrations in Children's books about African American stories. Coretta started this to continue the work of peace and brotherhood after her husbands death. Artists are chosen by the committee of the American Library Association of Ethnic and Multicultural Information Exchange Round Table (EMIERT). The works range from 1998 to 2018 award winners.
