Sacramento Piano Day (Postponed)

Sacramento Piano Day (Postponed)

Presented by Process Theatre at St. John's Lutheran Church

NOTE: This event has been postponed.

Piano Day is an annual worldwide event that takes place on the 88th day of the year because of the number of keys on the instrument being celebrated.

The aim of Piano Day is to create a platform for piano related projects, highlight the versatility, impact and meaning of this omni-present instrument and continue sharing the centuries-old joy of playing piano. It is with this intention that the first annual Sacramento Piano Day is offering a benefit piano concert, played on a beautiful instrument at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Philip Howard, award winning composer/pianist and founder of SacPianoDay will perform alongside Tanya Vegvary, a pianist and composer of world renown. Proceeds of the concert fund a pilot program to provide piano lessons and scholarships to children at the Saint John’s Program for Real Change.

Donations to benefit children at Saint John’s Program are encouraged.
