Celebration Arts is proud to present for colored girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is enuf by Ntozake Shange.

Celebration Arts believes in the power of art transforming life, and these monologues have transformed all of our lives in this production. It’s time to introduce younger audiences to this masterpiece and show them the relevancy of Ntozake’s work as great literature (not just a movie)! They believe patrons who celebrated and supported the play 15 years ago, as well as newer patrons, will find the importance of Ntozake’s voice enlightening, interesting and refreshing.
