Paint a Poppy

Paint a Poppy

Presented by Crocker Art Museum at Online/Virtual Space

Celebrate the many paintings in the Crocker that depict the state flower. Take a close-up look at the poppy and analyze the shapes that make up its form. Afterward, make several drawings from observation with pictures as the model, then choose one to develop into a painting on an 11” X 14” painting on canvas.

Running low on supplies or just want to avoid going to the store? Purchase a Supplies-to-Go Bag -- conveniently packed and quarantined for at least 72 hours and ready for curbside pick-up at a designated time -- when registering. Limit one per participant.
