Roaring in the '20s Members Show Prospectus

Presented by The Mills Station Arts and Culture Center (MACC) at Mills Station Arts and Cultural Center (The MACC)

Roaring in the '20s is the Rancho Cordova Arts second annual show about the cultural phenomena of the 1920s and 2020. The 1920s were fraught with cultural change and challenges such as the 18th and 19th amendments, the great migration, the Harlem Renaissance, fashion trends, jobs and women in the work force with the return of soldiers from WWII, to Jazz coming of age all happened during this time.

This was a very exciting time in our history. 2020 has already, six months into the year, been a year like no other. A global pandemic, political divisiveness, and the current momentum of Black Lives Matter.

This exhibit highlights the Rancho Cordova Arts members.

The MACC will be open and has Covid-19 precautions in place for all our guest safety. Guests must wear a mask, we will take your temperature at the door, and you must physically distance yourself inside the gallery. There is a separate entrance and exit and specific direction in which you need to see the exhibit. Your safety is our concern.
