Clay Labs are open to the public every Saturday morning from 10am-1pm and Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm-8:30pm, all ages and skills are welcome but kids under the age of fourteen are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

During the clay lab you may use up to 8 lbs of clay, any clay tools, glazes, our slab roller and wheels, you may fire items up to 12inches in any direction per lab session. We provide brief demos for people who are new to clay but this time is not structured as a class. Verge Center for the Arts does offer ceramic classes, please check our class schedule for more information.

COVID Updates:
Space may be limited due to new COVID-19 protocols. Verge asks that everyone wear a mask and respect new social distancing guidelines. In order to comply with current state mandates to keep everyone safe and healthy, we will be hosting clay lab outside in our courtyard. We will provide all the usual supplies, and also canopies and misters to keep us nice and cool. We recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing sunscreen.
