Celebration Arts hosts O Freedom! The Saga of Mary Pleasant, Mother of Civil Rights, a one-woman musical taped live starring Susheel Bibbs.

Taped onstage before a live audience, enhanced with visuals, with Pope Flyne on African drums and Jacqui Hairston on piano, celebrated singer-actress and filmmaker Susheel Bibbs brings her acclaimed one-woman show on Mary Ellen Pleasant to Celebration Arts.This filmed, one-time screening of a live performance will be a world-premiere, offered to Celebration Arts by The Living Heritage Foundation.

It will be followed by a live Q & A with Susheel Bibbs.
