Join in for the free kick-off of the new special interest series as the Girl Scouts discuss body neutrality, mental health, and healthy relationships.
How do you interpret yourself? How do you create your definition of you? Is it affected by the “image myths” of how a person should look?. We should all be able to feel “free to be me”.
There will be an interactive discussion and activities on sensitive topics: body image, gender, mental health issues (such as depression), healthy and unhealthy relationships, emotional wellbeing. Additional sensitive topics not listed above may come in conversation. Most importantly this will be a safe place to share and explore with a group of peers.
Program will be facilitated by GSHCC Council Staff. Program includes a guided webinar session, instructions, and a space for girls to make new friends.
Note: This event is for Grades 6-8.
