Instructor Peter Foucault and his Portable Printmaking Lab is coming back to Verge for a more extensive two session class. Peter will guide you through the basics of screen printing: preparing your design, setting up your workstation, how to prep and register paper, inking up the screen, and finally pulling a successful print! He will also provide information on how to set up your own screen printing station at home. This class is designed for all skill levels from beginners to working artists who want to learn this medium and students will learn to create prints using both hand cut stencils and emulsion burned screens. All materials are included but you may additionally bring your own materials to print on.

This class will take place outdoors in the courtyard area at Verge in a safe and sanitary environment with social distancing protocols in place. Maximum class capacity will be 10 students. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting ink on.
