The Sacramento State University Union and Vitalant will be hosting a blood drive Tuesday, October 20 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center.

Blood donation saves the lives of accident victims, surgery patients, cancer patients and many others in need. Blood donation is needed now more than ever. Donating blood is safe, easy and takes about an hour.

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also make a reservation here.

Face masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced. Participants should eat a healthy breakfast and drink water prior to donating. Please bring a photo ID.

The blood drive is open to students, faculty/ staff and the general public at no cost.
