Exploring Wildlife for Girls

Exploring Wildlife for Girls

Presented by Girl Scouts Heart of Central California at Online/Virtual Space

This virtual event is for girls who are not already Girl Scouts. Girls Scouts membership not required; appropriate for all ages.

Mammals, birds and reptiles! Dive into the world of three species in this free and virtual event to learn all about what makes them special! Explore interesting bio facts as we meet live animals, like Clem the Western Pond turtle or Echo the Great Horned owl along with other inhabitants of Effie Yeaw Sacramento Nature Center.

As part of the Girls Scout STEM and Outdoor programs, girls will combine science and the outdoors in a fun, virtual format as they learn all about stewardship and the natural world by exploring local critters and learning how to be investigators!

Not a Girl Scout? Don’t worry, this free event is designed specifically for non-members. Girls of all ages welcome! (Current Girl Scouts bringing a non-Girl Scout friend are welcome).
