Sacramento Songwriter Showcase

Sacramento Songwriter Showcase

Presented by Sacramento Songwriter Circle at Online/Virtual Space

This is an "in the round" style event. Each artist performs 3 original songs and is interviewed in between. This month we are featuring Jaclyn Lovey, Sam Caylor, and James Love.

Jaclyn Lovey was a contestant on NBC show The Voice. Her earlier music had a strong folk influence but her more recent work falls under the pop umbrella. She plays guitar, ukulele, and banjo, among other instruments.

Sam Caylor lived in Sacramento, moved to Nashville, then moved back. She was an active participant in Vista Del Lago's musical ensembles. Her music has been labeled as folk and rock. She plays guitar and ukulele.

James Love has a few different genre labels: alternative, indie, and folk are a few. He says that he is, "writing songs for hope," and, "music for light in the darkest places." His primary instrument is guitar.

This event will be available for asynchronous viewing after the live show on the Sacramento Songwriter Circle Facebook page and Twitch channel. If you would like to be a featured performer please fill out the form at this link: bit.ly/SSCShowcaseApply
