The Flute Festival 2021 will begin with renown flutist Carol Wincenc in concert. She will introduce and provide commentary on the pieces performed, including two premiers of works written for her 50th Anniversary Concert.

Ms. Wincenc will work with Sacramento area flutists in master classes on Saturday and Sunday. Other events at the festival will include participatory warm-ups and techniques for all levels and ages, a showcase of both national and local flute vendors, scholarship Competition Finals and an encore performance by Ms. Wincenc. All attendees will have the opportunity to play along on a Telemann Canonic Sonata Duet.
