UCCE Master Gardeners of Sacramento County present Virtual Harvest Day 2021

The largest one-day educational gardening event in Sacramento will be virtual this year! The UCCE Master Gardeners of Sacramento County are hosting a special on-line event for Harvest Day 2021 with how-to video mini-presentations that will be available for viewing mid-July.

Schedule of events:
-8:30am: Keynote with Fred Hoffman
-9:10am: Keynote with Greg Gayton
-9:50am: Keynote with Bill Krycia
-10:30am: Unusual Edibles in the Central Valley with Quentyn Young
-11:20am: Tips for Houseplant Selection and Care with Lori Ann Asmus
-12:10pm: Growing Bearded Irises in the Home Garden with Ruth Ostroff

Recorded talks by the keynote speakers will be available for viewing beginning mid-July on its YouTube channel.
-Growing Food Year-Round: Cool Season Vegetables” with Fred Hoffman, host of the podcast “Garden Basics with Farmer Fred.
