Jim Martinez has been a mainstay for over 50 years, beginning at age four. A Steinway Piano artist, his list of credits is exhaustive with names such as Lionel Hampton, Christian McBride, Joan Rivers, and he served as musical director for Bob Newhart. With thirteen CDs, he has successfully and reverently produced four CDs featuring his Jazz and Praise series. He also has produced the Roseville Jazz Festival for several years featuring a host of artists including the Four Freshman, the Stan Kenton Legacy Band, Manhattan Transfer, and more.

On August 30, 2021, the Sacramento Jazz Coop is proud to present the Jim Martinez Quartet with a tribute to Vince Guaraldi, Charles Schulz and Peanuts. Jim's 2015 CD of the same name ranked #10 on the national charts and was on the Jazz Week Charts for 26 weeks. With Shelly Denny on bass, Tim Metz on drums, Josh Wisterman on guitar and Jim Martinez on piano.

This show has a dinner option served promptly at 6pm. Dinner served in adjoining room. Dinner menu includes Tri-Tip with Red Wine Demi Sauce, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Classic Caesar Salad, Dinner Rolls with Sweet Butter.
