(Socially Distanced) Drawing the Nude

(Socially Distanced) Drawing the Nude

Presented by Crocker Art Museum at Crocker Art Museum

Observe and analyze the human form, and draw from nude models.

Patricia Wood is currently a full time Professor at American River College and Director of Kaneko Gallery. She has had numerous exhibitions both locally and nationally. She received her BA in Art Studio from UC Davis and her MFA in painting from the University of Arizona. Her artwork has been featured in several issues of New American Painting magazine as well as on the cover of Studio Visit magazine. She currently lives and has an art studio in Sacramento, California. She shares her space with two adorable cats who, through their callous disregard for art supplies and works in progress, serve to remind her that ultimately the value of the art making process is both personal and subjective.

Note: The Crocker is taking measures to ensure in-person class participants maintain appropriate distance to limit and/or avoid close contact with others. Among other things, we are limiting the number of people in our classes, as well as monitoring and marking the distance between class participants. In-person participants must wear a mask — including those who have already been vaccinated — practice social distancing, and comply with health and safety protocols.
