Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Sacramento is the largest breast cancer walk in Sacramento. 100% of all funds raised through this event are restricted to breast cancer research and support in our area. Making Strides will be starting at the West Steps of the CA State Capitol and walking through downtown where we will end our walk together at DOCO with live entertainment, photo opportunities, apparel and lots of downtown fun!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer envisions a world where our children do not have to live with the threat of a breast cancer diagnosis, where everyone has the a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive this disease. By joining this movement you can help to ensure that the American Cancer Society will be able to continue this fight.

Note: The event will be following all CDC or state/local guidelines. All participants regardless of vaccination status are encouraged to wear a face covering while on the State Capitol grounds over the age of 2. If you are unvaccinated or do not feel comfortable in a group setting please consider supporting us virtually on October 17th.
