The Midtown Association is proud to present two celebratory events in one, Midtown Mini and Midtown Love. The outdoor Midtown Mini – a 35-hole miniature golf activation set-up at 20th and K streets, followed by an always-popular indoor/outdoor Midtown Love celebration at Faces Nightclub.

In an effort to keep the community safe, masks will be required for participants when not eating and drinking. Complete with food and drinks, live music, interactive art, putt-putt golf, mermaids, drag queens, a lip sync battle, photo booths, raffles, prizes and more, the celebratory event raises funds to support Midtown’s resiliency efforts for local restaurants, bars, and retail establishments as well as help sustain the health-focused and free programming offered in various Midtown Parks.

During the Midtown Mini, golf foursomes will play 35 physically distanced and creatively decorated holes, and have the chance to win grand prizes that include a day trip with five friends on a private plane or an entire suite at a Sacramento Kings game. New this year – and to honor the legacy of Randy Paragary – a prize package will be awarded to the highest (low) score winner that will include an overnight stay at the Fort Sutter Hotel, a gift card to Café Bernardo and tickets to a future performance at B Street Theatre. As always, Midtown Mini participants are encouraged to dress in their best/loudest/most outlandish golf attire for a chance to win the coveted Golden Sweater Vest trophy. The Midtown Mini supports Midtown Parks, a non-profit 501(c)(3) arm of the organization that is aimed at increasing the well-being of the community by activating existing public spaces to provide more opportunities for recreation, leisure, and strengthening neighborhoods.

Utilizing indoor, outdoor and poolside spaces at the iconic Faces Nightclub, the Midtown Love annual celebration is designed to showcase the dynamic and eclectic vibe that makes Midtown the center for culture, creativity and vibrancy in Sacramento’s urban core while providing an opportunity to network with many of Midtown’s key influencers, business owners and involved community members. The highlight of the spirited evening event is an always epic lip sync battle featuring local individuals as they participate in a fierce but friendly competition. The event will also offer an incredible night of dancing and a roaming photo booth that offers a perfect backdrop for memorable photos. Of course, Midtown Love guests will enjoy amazing cocktails, bountiful sampling of some of Midtown’s most popular restaurants and eating establishments along with having a chance to win great prizes.
