Hitchcock’s gripping and suspenseful North by Northwest follows Madison Avenue advertising executive Roger Thornhill (Cary Grant), as he finds himself thrust into the world of spies when mistaken for a CIA Agent and kidnapped.

He escapes, seeking out the real Agent, only to discover that no one has ever seen him. Before he can investigate, a man is murdered in view of 50 witnesses who believe Thornhill is guilty. On the run from a murder charge, Thornhill meets a beautiful woman (Eva Marie Saint) who turns his life upside down when he realizes she’s not the innocent bystander he thought.
