Join Sacramento Fine Arts Center for one of three ceramic exhibitions during Fertile Ground, the 56th annual National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference.

Kala Stein, Sunshine Cobb, Forrest Lesch-Middelton, Sarah Brown, Owen Nelsen, Bobby Free, Anela Ming-Yue Oh, and Benjie Heu are artists with northern Californian roots who highlight a diversity of ceramics with earth-driven palettes, textures, and surface designs. Each artist is inspired by the natural world to express their unique relationship with the land and culture they call home in the mountains and valleys of Napa and Sonoma. These regions are not only agriculturally fertile, but they are progressive regions, rich in innovation while honoring the timeless traditions and beauty of ceramics.
