Nevada City Uncorked is a food, craft beer, and wine event that celebrates the agricultural bounty of Nevada County. It is a walk-about-town format that includes 20 different venues in Historic Downtown Nevada City, a Victorian era community in the Sierra Foothills one hour from Sacramento.

This year's event features a farm-to-table theme, with participating restaurants and caterers working with a new generation of young local farmers to transform fresh ingredients into signature dishes.

The wineries, in additon to pouring their favorite wines, will be highlighting the newest releases of the season in celebration of the upcoming harvest.  

The newly-opened Three Forks Bakery and Brewery is sampling pale and blonde ales, plus "something dark and yummy," accompanied by wood-fired pizza bites with local organic ingredients. Nearby Matteo's Public, Ol' Republic is pouring -- among other beers -- an IPA "with a Queensbury Rules punch of hops aroma and an export stout that "looks like a one-pint shot of espresso."

Note: Ticket includes a wine glass, unlimited wine tasting, and five food tickets. Attendees must be Age 21 or older.
