The City of Sacramento Office of Arts and Culture presents Virtual Artist Talk with Jaya King.

Jaya will share the evolution of her studio artwork and describe her experience working on her most intricate mural yet. Learn how she modified her art practice and processes through COVID and launched into her most massive undertaking.

Jaya King is a professional artist and California native based out of Sacramento. Her dynamic paintings marry the balance of technique while pushing the boundaries of texture and color. Her favorite mediums to work with are acrylic and encaustic. Her love affair with painting extends far beyond the gallery wall. Jaya enjoys pushing her boundaries by painting large-scale public murals.
