During this five-day camp, participants will learn how to differentiate and examine the difference between engaging public projects and personal art. Students will develop their own large-scale artworks, which will be on display to the general public on temporary movable walls, collaboratively with their peers and individually. Students will also learn about contemporary mural artists, the value of public art, and application techniques. Projects will include art mediums such as chalk, acrylic, and outdoor paint to create large-scale works of art.
Note: If registered for both morning and afternoon sessions, please provide your child with a packed lunch. There will be a 15 minute break in the middle of the session and a light snack will be provided.
