On the surface Gretchen is a housewife bored with a lackluster marriage and life. Matthew, her sons newly hired tour, sparks a flame in Gretchen and opens her eyes to the world of pleasure and, politics? His radial ideologies make her believe he may be something more sinister and Gretchen soon starts to believe that her new lover may be far more than he let on.
