The first hour is a time to listen to true personal stories from people who sign up for this open-mic style event. The second hour is a feedback and discussion time where guests talk with their storytellers and give supportive compassionate feedback on stories.

Nestor Gomez was born in Guatemala and moved to Chicago. He is a 65 times Moth Slam winner and three-time Chicago Moth Grand Slam winner. He is also the creator, producer, curator, and host of 80 Minutes Around the World, a storytelling show that features the stories of immigrants, their descendants, and allies.
