Movies Off The Wall: The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then Bigfoot

Presented by Crocker Art Museum at Crocker Art Museum

The Crocker Art Museum’s Movies Off the Wall series returns this summer! Inspired by Wayne Thiebaud: A Celebration, 1920-2021, the series explores the Sacramento region through a quirky mixture of films featuring local filmmakers, actors, and locations. Movies are screened en plein air in the Museum’s outdoor courtyard against the Teel Family Pavilion’s iconic architecture. Arrive early for trivia, giveaways, and film-related activities.

An offbeat film, The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then Bigfoot (2018) tells the story of Calvin Barr, an old, bitter recluse played by Sacramento native Sam Elliot. Once a legendary assassin whose task to kill Hitler almost changed the course of WWII, Barr is asked to come back from retirement to track down and eliminate a Bigfoot infected with a deadly disease.
