Documenting Dysphoria: Pride Month Photo Exhibit

Documenting Dysphoria: Pride Month Photo Exhibit

Presented by Viewpoint Photographic Art Center at Viewpoint Photographic Art Center

Come check out Salgu Wissmath’s photo exhibition Documenting Dysphoria during Pride month through the month of June!

Documenting Dysphoria seeks to show the diversity of experiences around gender dysphoria and across the gender spectrum. These images are intended to affirm and offer visibility to the trans and nonbinary experience from a queer lens.

In a time where trans rights are under attack by state legislation across the country, sharing nuanced and affirming stories of the trans community is more important than ever.

Salgu Wissmath is a nonbinary photographer from Sacramento.

Prints are available to purchase throughout June and July in-person or online through the gallery. 10% of proceeds from exhibit sales will be donated to the Trans and Queer Youth Collective, a local trans-led nonprofit supporting trans and queer youth in Sacramento.
