CASA de ESPAÑOL, Cielito Lindo Catering and the Mexican Cultural Center of Northern California (MCCNC) have partnered to launch Sacramento’s first ever Festival del Mole.
Sacramento’s central hub for Latinx Art, Culture and the Spanish Language, CASA de ESPAÑOL, will be hosting an evening night market and festival highlighting Mexican cuisine and gastronomy.
In collaboration with Cielito Lindo Catering, this will be an evening to celebrate one of Mexico’s oldest traditional foods, mole (moh-leh), a prehispanic dish that mixes various chiles, chocolate, seeds, and nuts creating a plethora of delicious sauces to cook with all types of Mexican delights both sweet and savory.
This event will showcase food, music, dance, and local artists. Guests will have the opportunity to listen and dance to music, as well as sample a couple of the moles.
100% of the proceeds from the food and bar will benefit the Mexican Cultural Center of Northern California College Scholarship Fund.
