Kick off Hispanic Heritage month by joining the inaugural Dia de los Miles 5K, one mile run and kids’ 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile fun runs! Strollers and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join in on the fun.

Dia de los Miles is more than a run. They will be showcasing a mercado (market) after the run. Considering that artists from Latin America have a long history of producing bright textiles, decorative plates, beaded jewelry to hand-tooled leather goods, they wanted to bring some talented local Latino artists to showcase their diverse wares. So on race morning, come for the run and stay for the mercado and wander the stalls. You may find the perfect gift for yourself or your friends.

Proceeds will benefit Latino Outdoors. Latino Outdoors aims to inspire, connect, and engage Latino communities in the outdoors and embrace cultura y familia as part of the outdoor narrative, ensuring their history, heritage, and leadership are valued and represented.
