Join the Sacramento LGBT Community Center for a fun-filled evening as they turn the Sacramento State University Ballroom into a glamorously spooky moonlit forest for the LGBTQ+ youth and allies to party, dance, and have fun. They'll provide a DJ, drag performances, and a safe, sober space for the community's youth to be themselves authentically.

The Q-Prom is a self-esteem-building event that provides an opportunity for 500+ young people from throughout the region to experience the enjoyment of a traditional prom in a welcoming, affirming environment. Many queer-identifying and ally youth do not attend their own school social events due to bullying, harassment, and, in some unfortunate cases, unreceptive or even hostile faculty and administrations. The Center is committed to hosting a safe, alcohol and drug- free, social space for young adults.

This year's Q-Prom is Halloween-themed, so costumes and prom attire are encouraged but absolutely not required!
