Female Fitness Challenge

Presented by City of Sacramento at William Land Park

The Community Advancement Division’s Outreach and Recruiting Unit is hosting the 2022 Female Fitness Challenge. The last Female Health and Fitness Challenge was held in 2008 and was a tremendous success. This year, the participants will be completing the POST Physical Agility Test (or Work Sample Test Battery) and a Plank Challenge honoring fallen Officers Natalie Corona (Davis PD) and Tara O’Sullivan (SPD).

There will also be static displays from around the Department and a Kid’s Fun Zone with games and activities for little ones. This event further supports the Department’s pledge to the “30 x 30 Initiative”, with an ultimate goal of increasing the representation of women in police recruit classes to 30% by 2030. SPD Recruiters will also be on scene to talk to anyone interested in joining the Sacramento Police Department.

You are invited to attend, support, and help spread the word about this event. They aim to see 50 women compete in this challenge, so if you are interested, please register today. Every participant will receive a Female Fitness Challenge t-shirt and a swag bag filled with gifts from the generous sponsors, including the Sawyer Hotel, California Family Fitness, UFC Gym, and many others. Prizes will also be awarded for top scores in the Physical Agility Test event and the Plank Challenge
