Head out to Beers Books with author James Richardson for the launch of his new book, The Abolitionist’s Journal: the Memories of an American Antislavery Family.

Richardson, a former journalist with The Sacramento Bee, will be joined by Ginger Rutland, playwright and former Bee colleague, who will join him in conversation and moderate questions. Richardson will be happy to sign books.
