Golden Harvest Parade and Festival

Presented by Golden Harvest Parade at Old Sacramento State Historic Park

Robust plans are underway for the First Annual Golden Harvest Parade and Festival. The theme of this year’s festivities will be “Unity, Harmony and Peace.” Organizers hope that this event will help foster a sense of community and combat the growing divisiveness across our country.

The parade will be an exciting event where performers of all ages will showcase their talent. Beginning at corner of 9th street and N street, the parade participants will make the one-mile trek down Capitol Mall towards the main venue. The parade will feature participants from a variety of different cultures, marching bands, elected officials, California pioneers, colorful floats, and more!

The festival will be held at the main venue in Old Sacramento, where attendees of all ages will experience the sights and sounds of the various cultures showcasing the spirit of unity. The festival will boast stage performances, music, entertainment, and art exhibits from the various cultures. Other activities include children’s games, agriculture shows, farmers market, food stalls, clothing booths, and more. There will be something for everyone to enjoy that will surely bring smiles and laughter to those who attend.

Many ethnic groups from the greater Sacramento region have already signed up to participate, and the list of entertainment continues to grow. From the sweet melody of choir groups to performers adorned in colorful clothing, the entertainment is sure to not disappoint.
