Wiley Manuel Bar Association (WMBA) is preparing for its first in-person Legal Fusion event in two years. Legal Fusion is a fundraising event for law student scholarships.

WMBA has existed for 50 years. It is named after the first black justice on the California Supreme Court. WMBA is committed to enhancing access to justice, impacting the diversity pipeline into the legal profession, and addressing the needs of the black community in the Sacramento region.

In addition to offering law school scholarships, they will honor community leaders for outstanding service. They will also provide entertainment for the Sacramento bar. Finally, Congressman Ami Bera will speak on issues of concern to the legal community that he is addressing on a federal level.
