To promote local artists and art ACAI Studios and Gallery is hosting their Annual Holiday Sale. This year they have 12 of their local studio artists participating. Part of the proceeds of each sale goes to support Allied Ceramics Art Institutes programs and services.

The sale includes a wide variety of handmade ceramics. It includes both functional and decorative art. The artist creates the work in their local studio. Many of the materials used come from the region.

Each piece is unique and often has its own story of how and why the artist made it. During the sale, you will meet the artist and have a chance to learn about the ceramic process.

With handmade items, there's always a lot of love, care, and attention to detail. The items are not something you will find in large chain stores that tend to drain the local economy. The choice of a handmade gift reflects an awareness of both the recipient and the world we live in.
